Freelance Film Director

Hello and welcome to! Simon is a short and feature-length film director based in Bristol, UK.

His debut feature “SHANK” was released on DVD in November 2009 and is available now. The film has been screened in over 60 film festivals around the world to over 30,000 people. In May 2009, he was awarded the Roger Walker-Dack award for Emerging Talent in Miami. His second feature, “Judas Ghost”, a supernatural horror, was released in 2015 in the UK & US and is available to buy here.

Freelance Editor and Camera Operator

When he’s not directing, Simon also works as a freelance editor and camera operator. He has worked for companies such as the BBC, Diverse and Icon Films, on projects ranging from documentaries, dramas, music videos, to commercials and corporates. His recent edits include work on season 8 of “River Monsters” for Animal Planet, and the documentary “Britain’s Medieval Vampires” for Channel 4/PBS.

He also shot the short film “Ashes”, for Hanover Pictures, filmed on the Canon C300 on location in Dartmoor, and the music video “Eye of the Storm”, for the band Franko.
