February 2015

Happy new year!

Following a great festival run in 2014, Simon’s second feature “Judas Ghost” is set for a release in the UK on DVD and VOD in April. The film was the proud recipient of the Best Film award at last years Bram Stoker Film Festival, it’s fourth award in the category, alongside a Best Director win for Simon at the British Horror Film Festival in October.

His new short, “Watch Over Me” is now also complete and is currently being submitted to festivals. You can watch the trailer for that here.

Finally, check out the trailer for his latest project – “Horizon”, a Bristol based science fiction web series set to debut in the spring. Simon was a writer and producer on the project, which was a co-production with Paul Dudbridge of Hanover Pictures.

September 2014

Lots of exciting news for Simon’s second feature Judas Ghost so far this year, the film has played seven international genre festivals so far and will play another four before the years end. These include:

The Bram Stoker Film Festival  – Whitby, UK

Diabolique International Film Festival – Indiana, US

Thriller! Chiller! International Genre Festival – Michigan, US

And finally:

The British Horror Film Festival – London, UK

It has received 3 awards for Best Horror Feature, at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, the London Independent Film Festival, and also in the 2014 Tabloid Witch Awards, where it was described as an “exhilarating ride.”

In other news, Simon’s latest short film “Watch Over Me” is nearing completion. The film is picture locked, with the music currently being composed and the grade and sound mix set for October. The film is being scored by the talented team at Yellow Boat Music, who also wrote the music for Judas Ghost.

May 2014

Simon has just wrapped shooting on his latest short film, the action thriller “Watch Over Me.” The film was shot on the Canon C300  on location in and around Bristol. It is currently in post-production.

November 2013

“Judas Ghost” is currently enjoying a tour of international horror & fantasy festivals, and has already played South Africa, Bruges, and Los Angeles.

The film was recently awarded “Best International Horror” at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival in Buffalo, NY and will play San Francisco on the 7th December.

The film is now also being represented for worldwide sales by Stealth Media Group:
